About Paola

Paola Gabriela Zaragoza Cardenales is currently pursing her career as both a practicing lawyer and professor.

She is also recent gradate of the Professional Masters in Law at University of California Berkeley and has a Juris Doctor and Bachelors in Accounting and Human Resources of the University of Puerto Rico. She will start a Doctorate in Judicial Science at Indiana University Maurer Law School and will take the New York Bar.

Paola is a Mediator as certified by the Negotiations and Arbitrations Office of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico. Also, Paola helped create the first Domestic Violence Pro Bono Program in Puerto Rico; is the author of the food blog Culinary Road Trips Puerto Rico; and has worked with various boards of student organizations. Finally, Paola has gained experience in Business law and Intellectual Property working as a law clerk and assistant in various accounting and legal corporations in Puerto Rico and in the Economic Development Clinic.

Paola has three published articles: Series Limited Liability Companies in Puerto Rico: Looking to Delaware for Guidance and Non-Profit Organizations: Analysis Comparative Of The Fiscal Treatment And Control Of State At Federal And State Level in UPR Law School Law Journal and “El nombre hace la cosa y el negocio” in El Nuevo Dia (Local Newspaper in Puerto Rico).
